Rise for Climate, Jobs and Justice September 8, 2 - 5 p.m. With the devastating flood in Ellicott City and the deadly heat waves, forest fires and storms across the country and around the world, it’s clear that the climate crisis is taking a toll already. We know what we need – clean energy, clean transportation, and a clean energy economy that provides jobs and justice for all, but they are not coming fast enough. On September 8, Howard County will join thousands around the world, to demand clean energy solutions now. We rise to save our generation, and future generations, to show our leaders solutions can’t wait.
